NEW CONSTRUCTION, 2017

This 3,330 SF, two story house was built in a small village just outside the city of Chicago. The client was a family moving back to Illinois from California after expecting their second child. They emphasized a need for space efficiency to accommodate their growing family while allowing each parent to work from home comfortably. There was also a desire for charming details which was achieved with bay windows, warm finishes and textures, and tray ceilings to amplify the space and disguise mechanical ductwork.
