INDUSTRIAL PALIMPSEST, 2021

This book investigates active and alternative strategies of historic documentation, visible historic interpretation, and adaptive use through methods of analysis, synthesis, and interpretation. The result is a celebration of the rich industrial heritage of Newark, NJ, and it’s industrial palimpsest whether the buildings still exist, are in ruin and remain visible, or have become invisible.

As editorial assistant to lecturer Nina Rappaport, I compiled student projects including my The Newark Milk Project, conducted historical research, prepared drawings and images, wrote first drafts, and assisted in editing and coordination.
