AN ETHICAL FIELD GUIDE FOR SITE ANALYSES, 2021
In my final semester of grad school I completed a course on ethical practices in architecture. This document collects work and research I conducted - including presentations The Ethics of Aesthetics, which looked at personal taste and subjectivity, and Candor Without Certainty which addressed architect-client communication and reasonable expectations in an unpredictable world.
The goal is to observe the practice of architectural site analysis and data collection in an increasingly multi-dimensional world. Six categories of research are identified to reveal the complex multidisciplinary approach required by contemporary architects to create healthy, equitable design.
